About the Leiter side
This is a blog, a journal of sorts, of my quarter-life crisis. Many born in or around 1987 can relate.
I am a 25-year-old little girl from midcoast Maine who has, up until now, suffered from a life that provided too much choice. While that’s probably a really good problem to have in the grand scheme of things, it can be difficult to know which way to go.
In the face of a down economy with a major in an industry (journalism) that is in a weird metamorphosis and a love to write, travel, experiment and have fun, I’m finally starting to figure out how I can work to make that all happen.
This blog is for anyone who can sympathize or empathize with the current state a majority of 20-somethings are going through. While finding your way can be scary, overwhelming and unfathomably difficult at times, the lighter moments along the path make life that much more enjoyable and memorable.
The journey is the challenge, but the beauty of finding yourself along the way is the reward.
Enjoy and best of wishes to you all!

Melissa………..Make your camera do the work. Keep it with you at all times. Shoot 40 -50 shots a day,
Tell everyone that that’s what you do, you are a photographer……….next thing you know, you will be a working photographer.

Awww, darling, life is full of such border years
Next, start preparing for your 50ties
But the advice I think is the same – try making your life as interesting as you can. Yes, photography can be one of directions. And even if you don’t become a famous photographer, photos could be a great reminder when you try to refresh memories of things you were doing later, when you’ll become a writer or painter, or whatever else
